Mike Thibodeaux, a Church Point native, turned the Teurlings’ baseball program into a perennial power during his 12-year stint as head coach of the Rebels.
The good news regarding high school athletics in Louisiana is that there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel.
It just may take a little longer than hoped to reach that light.

The Notre Dame Pios are not one to shy away from competition in any sport, but especially when it comes to baseball.
That was especially true during the Pios’ abbreviated 2020 season.
On Monday, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced that the stay at home order will be lifted for the state on Friday and Louisiana will begin Phase 1 of Louisiana’s COVID-19 reopening.
