Kellen Katherine Dawson weds Ryan Hunter Stevison

Kellen Katherine Dawson and Ryan Hunter Stevison were united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on Saturday, April 21, 2018, in the chapel of the Academy of Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau with Fr. Allen Breaux officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Mark Dawson of Rayne. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Audrey LeBeau Hornsby and the late E.J. Hornsby of New Roads, and the and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Charles Dawson II of Morganza.
Kellen is a 2010 graduate of the Academy of the Sacred Heart and a 2014 graduate of Millsaps College, where she received a Bachelor of Science in biology. She is currently a fourth year medical student at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and will graduate in May. She will complete a residency in pathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. James Mitchell Stevison of Madison, Alabama. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Tracy of Laurel, Mississippi, the late Bill Rogers of Laurel, Mississippi, and Mrs. Jesmine Stevison and the late James Vincent Stevison of Evans.
Ryan is a 2010 graduate of Westminister Christian Academy in Hunstville, Alabama and a 2014 graduate of Millsaps College where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He also received a Master of Business Adminstration from Millsaps College in 2015 and is presently a senior financial analyst for Raytheon in Tucson, Arizona.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant, long-sleeved wedding gown with chantilly lace bodice and floating slik chiffon skirt by designer Anne Barge. She finished off her look with a classic tulle layered veil and carried a bouquet of white and blush colored hydrangeas and peonies. Her bouquet was adorned with her maternal grandmother’s rosary.
Erin Dawson Alexander, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids included Katlyn Mackenzie Stevison, sister of the groom, as well as Dana Diesi Craft, Ellen Angelle Faulk and Emily Vidrine Treloar, friends of the bride.
Kaylin Aubrey Caswell, niece of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid.
Bridesmaids each wore a celadon off-the-shoulder chiffon gown with ruched crossover bodice and shirred skirt.
James Brandon Stevison, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Groosmen were Kirk Keith Clark, Christopher Robert Hood, Ryan Michael McKay and Simon Paul Sherman, all friends of the groom.
Serving as ushers were Evan Murphy Broome and John Nolan Killebrew, friends of the groom.
Adalyn Claire Caswell, niece of the bride, served as flower girl, while Reid Edward Holtzman, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
Readers included Simone Lirette Laroussini and Alexandra Marie Hubbell, both friends of the bride.
Ryan and Lindsey Bergeron, cousins of the bride, served as gift bearers.
Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at The City Club at River Ranch in Lafayette.
Upon returning from a honeymoon to Oahu and Mauri, the couple will reside in Little Rock, Arkansas.
