The Church of Christ in Crowley, represented by Rev. Randy Cobb, far right, was also presented with a Daniel Ellis Byrd Community Service Award by the Louisiana State Conference NAACP for its work as an organization. The National Association for the Advancement of ColoAred People Acadia Parish Chapter 6299 held its regular monthly meeting on Monday, Nov. 7, at the Church of Christ in Crowley.
