New playground equipment arrives for Rayne youth

DOC workers were busy this week installing new playground equipment at the four city parks.
Martin Luther King Park was the site of the first of six new structures to be added to the city’s parks.
The city-wide project was budgeted at $150,000 through the Park and Recreation Department's 2018-2019 budget.
Prep work began in April as dirt work prepared the park locations by city employees and workers of the DOC Program.
