The Ross Elementary School first graders were presented books by Dr. Ezora J. Proctor, April J. Drew and Dr. Debira Broussard recently to emphasize literacy, comprehension, critical thinking and creativity. Books were presented to 70 students. The mission is to get books into the homes of students to enhance students’ reading level, to read to their parents and the parents read to the students.
