Work is progressing on the new 6,000-square-foot freezer building for the Acadia Parish School System. The building is located in front of the system’s Educational Center (former Walmart building) along North Parkerson, behind Gatti’s Pizza. Superintendent Scott Richard recently told Crowley Rotarians that the new freezer is “going to be able to store food and commodities for the more than 9,000 students in our schools.”
