The Acadia Convention and Visitors Commission (Acadia Parish Tourist Commission) unveiled its new brand and logo during a program Tuesday morning at The Crying Eagle Lodge near Basile. Among those on hand for the event were, from left, Sharon Calcote, Byways director, Louisiana Office of Tourism; Nancy Loewer, executive director, Acadia Commission; and Wynn Waltman, part of the creative team that designed the new logo and brand.

IOTA - The largest graduating class in Acadia Parish was the last to receive diplomas as 140 candidates were graduated during ceremonies Saturday morning at Bulldog Stadium in Iota.
