Construction continues on the new Fezzo’s Seafood, Steakhouse and Oyster Bar building along Rice Capital Parkway. The new restaurant will be 8,800 square feet, compared to the 6,000-square-foot facility now opearted just west of the new site. Barring any major weather delays or further disruptions in the supply chain, owners hope to be in operation before the end of the year. Estimated cost of the new investment is close to $3 million.

Claire Kelbaugh, center, president and CEO of Sterling Wellness Solutions, spoke to members of the Crowley Lions Club Tuesday about her experiences growing a company “from the front porch” to a firm that now serves over 40 employer groups with 60,000-plus employees nationwide. Welcoming Kelbaugh to the meeeting were Club Vice Presdient Tim Mader, left and Program Chair Patti Lawrence.
