Hundreds of residents are expected to turn out for the 23rd annual New Year’s Eve fireworks display to be sponsored once again by the City of Rayne at midnight on Friday, Dec. 31.

RAYNE - Wilson Bordes of Rayne received an early Christmas gift when he was declared the winner of the 2021 Rayne Acadian-Tribune’s Annual Christmas Cash Shopping Spree.
Ronald Pippin was crowned Queen of the Womanless Beauty Pageant held recently at the Rice Festival Building. The event benefitted the Miles Perret Center in Lafayette. Making the presentation to the new queen is Chad Monceaux, master of ceremonies.
A recent Womanless Beauty Pageant here raised over $11,000 for the Miles Perret Center in Lafayette.
