Kirby John Bearb

RAYNE - Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, at 3 p.m. in Gossen Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, for Kirby John Bearb, 83, who died Saturday, Oct. 12, at The Ellington Nursing Home in Rayne.
Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Mausoleum, Rayne.
Deacon Denis LaCroix with St. Joseph Catholic Church was celebrant of the funeral services.
Survivors include his two sons, Brent Bearb and Perry Sanchez and spouse Agnes; three sisters, Joyce B. Leger, Thelma B. Domingue and spouse Harold, and Martha B. Royer and spouse Eugene. Mr. Bearb was also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a special friend, Joyce Mire.
He was preceded in death by his father, Abbie Bearb; mother, Agnes Stutes Bearb; wife Lynn Bearb; a daughter, Dommie Bonfilio; and brother-in-law, Percy Leger.
Mr. Bearb enjoyed having coffee with his buddies often, along with gardening and visiting with the folks at the American Legion Hall.
The Bearb family would like to extend a special thanks to The Ellington Nursing Home facility and nurses, Heart of Hospice and Dr. Thomas Curtis for the love and support that was given.
Pallbearers were Perry Sanchez, Jerin Guidry, Chris Domingue, Dwayne Domingue, Kirby Sanchez, Jordan Bearb and Corey Bearb.
A Rosary was prayed Monday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne.
The family requested visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne on Monday, Oct. 14, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
