Local attorney Jack Miller shows Crowley Rotarians the gold record his father, J.D. Miller earned for “It Wasn’t God Who Make Honky Tonk Angels.” J.D. Miller wrote the song, which was recorded by Kitty Wells and remained No. 1 on the charts for several weeks.
Most locals know the role legendary music producer J.D. Miller played in Crowley, but hearing about that history from someone who was a part of it is something special.
