The Louisiana Rice Research Board has given $1 million to fund an academic chair dedicated for rice research in the LSU AgCenter.
Friday, investigators from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations arrested a member of the Louisiana Tax Commission on multiple charges related to his employment.
