“The Great Wall of Rescue,” equipment designed to aid in the rescue of individuals who happen to fall into a grain elevator or bin, was delivered recently to the Crowley Fire Department. On hand for the delivery were, kneeling, CFD Driver Scott Mouton; and, standing from left, Andrew Simon of Farm Bureau Insurance; Delo Hebert, safety manager for Supreme Rice Mill, who purchased the equipment and donated it to the fire department; Fire Chief Jody Viator and CFD Capt. Scott Hoffpauir.
